State Library of Pennsylvania's Rare Collections Library Temporarily Closed

State Library of Pennsylvania

The Rare Collections Library of the State Library of Pennsylvania began its move into a state-of-the-art preservation environment in Spring 2008. During the several months of the move and the adjustment phase that follows, we regret this collection will not be available to researchers and visitors.

Please visit the State Library webpage for the announcement of its re-opening.  In the interim all other services to the public will continue with many early imprints remaining available at the Library on microfilm during this time.  We look forward to inviting you to visit the new Rare Collections Library and reading room within the State Library building.  Thank you.
