Standards and Best Practices
Currently, PACSCL does not maintain an independent set of standards or best practices, but many of its members subscribe to the best practices of their professional organizations, e.g., The American Library Association (and its divisions, ACRL and RBMS); The Academy of Certified Archivists, the Society of American Archivists, as well as the professional organizations for specific subdisciplines.
PACSCL has recently established a working group on diversity and inclusion. Statement on Diversity and Inclusion

- Bibliotheca Philadelphiensis imaging standards generally follow those of the NISO standards as articulated in A Framework for Building Good Digital Collections, 3rd Edition: http://www.niso.org/publications/rp/framework3.pdf . As the project progresses, additional documentation describing imaging and metadata standards and practices will be added to the project websites.
