Technology Sustainability Working Group

Technology Sustainability Working Group

The Technology Sustainability Working Group will propose guidelines and policies for handling existing digital assets and projects and creating new ones.  The working group will set strategic directions for shared infrastructures and partnerships with PACSCL members and will consult with other PACSCL committees on the financial and personnel implications of technology used. The working group will create an inventory of PACSCL’s digital assets, articulate their current and anticipated future needs, and plan for the sustainability of core assets. The working group will create and publicly host guidelines and policy documents to help PACSCL organizations best manage the full life cycle of their digital projects. Through this work, the working group aims to empower PACSCL members and project teams to support their digital assets and projects through the creation of shared resources and infrastructure.
