PACSCL is committed to providing professional development opportunities and educational resources to help K-12 teachers effectively use historic primary sources in the classroom.The Teacher Advisory Group supports PACSCL’s educational efforts by providing guidance on consortial initiatives, programming, and resources for K-12 teachers.
Teacher Advisory Group members:
- Participate in bi-annual meetings.
- Advise the Consortium and its member libraries on how to best support teachers through its programming, outreach efforts, and resources.
- Advocate on behalf of the Consortium and champion the use of historic primary sources in the classroom.
- Receive individualized support if desired, such as suggestions of specific primary sources for their classes, instruction sessions or consultations with their students on finding primary sources, or a field trip to a PACSCL member library.
PACSCL invites K-12 teachers and educators from public and private schools in the greater Philadelphia metro area (including suburbs) to serve on its Teacher Advisory Group (TAG). TAG is convened by the PACSCL Program & Member Engagement Committee. Interested teachers should email Heather Willever-Farr at email@example.com.
